My hunch is that he gets off very very lightly for cooperating - not that it takes a genius to guess that - as atrocious as the crime was - he was only involved with burning the corpse- and he could probably bullshit about a lot of the circumstances involved in meeting Craig - I mean what the hell did he have to gain....then again what the hell did Brady have to gain with trying to kill witnesses...
