Nelson Brady Trial pushed back until October
We’ll have to wait a few more months for the outcome of Nelson Brady. You’ll remember he is charged with three counts of conspiracy to commit a crime in the “Murder for Hire” plot.
Notes from the case:
State announced ready. Mr. Ferran advised they are not ready as still receiving discovery. Mr. Daskas noted this was a short setting and had no opposition to continuance. Deft. WAIVED his right to a speedy trial. Counsel noted trial will take one week, 1 witness is out of the country, and State has 15 witnesses.
COURT ORDERED, trial date VACATED and RESET, and advised Mr. Ferran, if they get discovery completed, they can request Judge Herndon give them an earlier trial setting.

Why does everything keep getting freakin postponed? I’m sick and tired of this. Why don’t they just set the date and get ball rolling. It’s ridiculous and it is a waste of taxpayer’s money. The judicial system in Las Vegas don’t know what the hell is going on.

Ok… all the prosecution has to say is “Yo Dean here is a plane ticket for a trip to Las Vegas on April 26th or whatever… He flies to Vegas for a couple of days, gambles, hangs out, robs the fossilman again and give some testimony. How hard is that? And how is he out of the country if he’s on probation. This is just getting strung out like CT on the night he murdered MJ.
