However, Craig bound Melissa's body, put a wire around her neck, put her in the trunk of his wife's car and set it ablaze - all this he has admitted to. Somebody that can do that to a friend in order to protect his career - is seriously flawed and quite capable (in my eyes) of other hideous acts - including murder. I, too, hope that whoever killed Melissa is convicted, but I don't think Melissa's mother or her family will ever rest or have peace. Whatever happened - whether you believe Melissa over-dosed or was murdered, to have your daughter bound, strangled, and burned by her friends and lie about it, then have to bury her is something a mother never gets over.
