I disagree, I believe this strategy could work. They already know of Craig’s instability and lack of emotional control. If compelled to display one or more outbursts in the presence of a jury it’s all over for both of them.

As for Kelly’s recent conversion to smoke screen Christian, that crap went out the window years ago. Not many people fall for the old murderer to Christian in sixty seconds. With their credibility having been eroded in recent years by the likes of Pat Robertson, Jim Baker, Oral Roberts (fitting name) and countless others, Christianity makes for a poor choice of defense.

Remember the gal who left the pickaxe in the chest of her victim in Texas? she tried the conversion theory. She was even featured on Sixty Minutes and came off with that trademark glazed eye look that is common among born again criminals. She also tried to pass on that her boyfriend hooked her on drugs and turned her life upside down story (similar to this case). The great state of Texas and then Governor George Dubya executed her regardless of her conversion.

Any religion can be a good thing however if used for a last minute get out of jail free card, God sees through that and isn’t stupid. It’s just that the born again community makes a lot of money convincing the weak and the stupid that no matter what you do, a last minute conversion will set you free. For a price of course.

Bad move on the prosecutors part. Looks like they wanna “Plan B” Kelly, blaming it all on her, hoping Craig will admit to everything. Even if he didn’t, they at least still get to pin everything on Kelly. Prosecutors may think win-win for them. But it could well back fire, putting jurors in doubt. With reasonable doubt, they can’t convict those 2 for murder.

Court room drama unfolding, when’s the movie bout these 2 going to come out:)

In all seriousness, these “vocal tics” or outbursts are the tip of an iceberg that loom large underneath. Anyone who has been around Mr. Titus may have heard the similar outbursts like a person with Tourette’s Syndrome.

If indeed, he has some form of mental illness, would it be right to punish someone for being sick? Would we punish a retarded person for being retarded?
