Ice Gear offers official statement
It’s widely known in the bodybuilding & fitness community that Craig Titus and Kelly Ryan were starting their own organization and the two of them were endorsing Ice Gear Clothing. Ice Gear offered the following statement to titusandryan.com regarding the current Titus and Ryan situation…
Hello,
It brings us much sadness here at ICE GEAR to learn of the tragic news regarding Melissa James. We are very shocked of the unfortunate happening and although ICE GEAR has never met the victim, our condolences go out to both her family and friends.
ICE GEAR has no knowledge of the incident in question, therefore cannot provide any further comment concerning this matter.
Again, we sincerely extend our condolences to the loved ones of Melissa James.

If you keep Craig and Kelly associated with your company, not just because of the implications of murder but because of their lifestyle choices I will boycott your products and any other companies you are assosiated wtih in any way. I also will actively pursue this boycott by including in it with myself many others who feel the same as I. Innocent until proven guilty, yes. But sometimes something is so obvious that foul play is involved just like the Natalee case, and OJ Simpson/Nicole Simpson circus. Condolences to the family of the deceased does not make up for condoning the behavior of the defendents. Making sure that people like Craig and Kelly do not have access to large amounts of money can keep them from continuing their self destructive, obsessive physical workouts and “supplement” use and their past (and allegedly present known history of recreational drug abuse) (see interview with Titus’s best friend on freetitus.com) Maybe if they don’t have the money, this won’t happen agin, like the death of my friend. Some of this bodybuilding goes too far, and the ways and means of winning include using illegal substances to acheive “the look” of a bodybuilding “winner”. In my opinion, a healthy, happy person does not include working out more than 3 hours a day and taking 32 different supplemental pills a day(see titus’s webpage), and the way the body looks after you do that to it is really not appealing and VERY distinctive. It’s not right to advocate this harmful treatment of the body and mind. Aspiring bodybuilders need to look up to more realistic and healthful minded individuals. Please choose someone that lives a healthier lifestyle than that to endorse your product. Because Melissa was going to manage your store in Vegas. Because Melissa was affected and changed by meeting them. Because Melissa didn’t have to die. Her pictures show a healthier person, a ballerina, a dancer’s body, more like that of a person living (or at least trying to live) a healthy, happy lifestyle. A person affected by the lifestyle chosen by the Titus family that changed and shortened Melissa’s life.
