Murder suspects say they weren’t running: Plead innocent to charges they fled to Mass. to avoid murder rap in Nevada

STOUGHTON - Husband-and-wife bodybuilders tracked down in Stoughton will remain behind bars as they fight being returned to Nevada to face murder charges.
The lawyer for Craig Titus, 40, and Kelly Ryan, 33, said they were in Massachusetts to celebrate the holidays with friends and weren’t on the run.
‘‘They were going to return to Clark County after the holidays,’’ George said. ‘‘They had cooperated with Nevada police before leaving and didn’t know they were wanted.’’

If these two didn’t know they were wanted then why on earth were these wannabe jetsetters driving all day and all night to Boston???
